I'm pretty sure we never even properly learned how to use a pipette. They're kind of... obvious? You just squeeze it when it's in solution and squeeze it again to make it come out. o-o
Unless you guys have really advanced pipettes or really advanced pipetting techniques.
But then again, in Chem., my percent error was regularly over 50%. Actually, I think it was 114% once. HAHa

We use ones that look like these:

You have to push the knob at the top down a bit until you can feel a stop, put it in the solution, let the knob go to suck the solution up, and then push the knob down all the way (after the "stop") to expel the liquid.
Sounds complicated but it's real easy once you've done it once. My partner last semester pressed it all the way down INSIDE the liquid and made a lot of bubbles in the solution, and sucked too much solution up. =_____=" Noob.
