Well, I hate to see this thread because I was hoping it was only me catching crap from everyone in KQ who expected me to keep them all alive, and all at the same time.
I finally got tired of one tank running off at the mouth about the "blankety blank" clerics letting her die and costing her the HP buff she had and finally shouted back telling her that with cool down and with the time rez takes to cast (cuz if you try to rez and quickly go to heal another then the rez stops and you have to start over (this parenthesis part wasn't in my shout back at her)) that there is no way to keep everyone alive at once and surely they has sense enough to bring some stones and potions in with them and to try using them.
She didn't stop griping about the whole group sucking but she did stop going on and on about the clerics.
As for the earlier comment about the “clerics our primary job is to heal every playerâ€, I have to differ in opinion with you on that one. First because as Hessah stated “unless they're fighting bosses... i dun think we're responsible for healing other party membersâ€. You can’t click every character in the KQ to status them while your own party dies. Second, I personally have tried running KQ’s doing nothing but pure heal and got to the end for an empty chest reward and not all my quest components complete. What was my benefit in running that KQ? I used tons of SP and get nothing while others are patting each other on the back for getting +5 or +6 weapons, lucky elrues and jewelry. I’m sorry, I am in this game to better my character also and to that end when I am down by a ratman and a warrior boar, you can bet your sweet cheeks I will be wailing on a ratman or warrior boar and if opportunity permits I will heal the fool who showed up with no stones or potions, but priority one is MY quest status, thank you very much!
Nuff said.
