Thanks! I figured that anything stated as fact would really be heresay, but I was just wondering about people's thoughts on the matter.

And luckily, when I broke my new wand I still had my old lvl 15 +6 staff. But I just stood around and eventually sold it, along with some rare boots I'd picked up from KQ so I was able to get enough money to buy my new wand =)
