I'll agree to that, emachines tend to be built with refurbished parts, so they are so cheap. I went to walmart the other day and a new emachine will only cost you $300. With an emachine its possible that the motherboard did go because that is one of the more common problems that happens with those pos. Your lucky it wasn't the power supply, cuz that tends to take the emachine's hard drives as well. But if you are willing to pay more for a better computer check this site out; has decent computers and decent prices.
