Actually Loki that is exactly what I am talking about. But what I am saying is that relative truth in and of itself is not possible.
If I say truth is relative and that what is true for me may not be true for you therefore truth is relative. (As you put it in your first paragraph)
Then the statement “truth is relative†becomes an actual truth to be believed by all.
If the statement “truth is relative†is an actual truth then truth can not be relative.
If truth is not relative then the statement “truth is relative†is false.
Therefore truth can not be relative.
There must be actual truth.
Therefore the statement “truth is relative†is impossible and a contradiction unto itself.
