Okay. It sounds like he might have gotten into something such as insecticides or pesticides. Most symptoms for a dog that has somehow gotten these in its body are:
hypersalivation (drooling a lot), vomiting, lethargy, tremors, difficulty walking, weakness, and death.
This doesn't mean he was poisoned - if you or your neighbor was using these things, or even flea and tick powder - stuff like that, he might have eaten something that had it on it, or inhaled it.
So if he starts vomiting or shaking, you need to take him to the vet immediatly. However if he doesn't, but also doesn't start walking tomorrow, you need to take him.
Just make sure for now the dog has a fresh and frequent supply of water nearby.
