Yeah there are many "greens" without stats, many people buy them thinking they're something better. They're not. Green armor only has stat bonuses. Green shields may/may not have stat bonuses but they always have 1% extra block rate. Green weapons are better depending on their name. Look at weapons in the wiki (too lazy to link).
