If you hit all DoT skills (ie. poison, bleed)... and you keep hitting it at a good pace. Yes, you'll pull aggro. But it shouldn't happen if you have a good tanker.
A good advice is if you see your tank stunned or in fear... pull back on your attacks so the mob doesn't turn to you.
