If it was like some other game where you were able to find some piece of costume from mobs... like cat ears for example. Or even a different version of the same level armor (perhaps with a different color, looks, or even different stats/requirement). Then I would see that there is a point in staying after reaching level cap. But that is obviously not the case.

Do they hold events to keep them busy? No, not really. Do they at least add new Cash Items to play around with? Nope. So why do you need to be in such a rush to level? I would understand the need and want to reach 60 cause you get a new title and the job change is fun too. But after that there isn't much else except maybe level your production skills. I know that when I was around 55 I worked to get to 60 cause I wanted to be a Scout but now she's just sitting there collecting dust. So I can't imagine what people are going through after reaching 79.

It's obvious that more and more people are closing in on the current level cap. It's also evident that more have reached their 60's and are taking over what little space the 70+ have to work with. When you hold a contest to have people race to the level cap you had better be ready to open up new maps for them soon afterwards. Because it's not just 1-2 people trying it for it... it's the whole community.

EDIT: About the new zones thing. People in their 20s are capable of getting to FoS with the right group. So you don't really need to be 60-70+ to see 'new zones'. Which is kind of sad in a way.
