I've heard of that open office... but I choose to keep my 2007 Office fine.
The only thing you have to do is when you have 2007, make sure that you have to save it in compatability mode.
The new 2007 office saves all files with "x" at the end, i.e. ".docx" ".pptx"
I have no idea why =/
