Why didn't you stick up for yourself? Just telling annoying people to shut up or screw off usually does work.
Or you could've asked how old he was, then say something along the lines of, "Wow, a 20 year old picking on a 13 year old? You're really cool." Emphasize the sarcasm on the really.
