Lemme just check my laptops
With Acer AND newer HP you don't have to press anything to get Print screen, but you have to do [fn] + [page down] to rest... which is annoying...
On 99% of keyboards [PrintScreen] is shared with [SysRequest]... try pressing [Shift] + [PrintScreen]
If you download xfire from
www.xfire.com/downloads you can take pictures with that and set up whatever key combo you want... usually it's [Scr Lock] + X, but with the Acer [fn] + [F12] +[x] works just fine. That, and you get a nice shutter sound to tell you of its success
