You rarely need herbs or shrooms, just only for produc skills.

But they're pretty easily farmed, so you will probably be better off selling them to NPCs @__@

Unless you have someone to accompany you, if you're below the killing level for that monster it'll be pretty hard since the relog glitch is gone .___.
