That is a prejudice. Present evidence that states insects do not have emotions.
What Spirit has stated is correct. Humans find much more in common with cats and dogs because they have more in common as opposed to insects, and more lovable, if you will. That does not mean, however, that you can assert that the largest taxonomic kingdom has no emotions without conclusive evidence.
