I'd use magic missile and firebolt 1. Empower MM to full cooldown, firebolt to damage. Keep the combo the same til you get some more skills.

Magic Missle [1] to full cooldown
Firebolt [1] to full damage
I'm not going to give any advice, since I think my combo's messed. XD
