Teq and Niion are right about fighter's being expensive, especially when soloing. We no longer have the repeatable quest's that used to at least help pay for stones. At 106 copper per an hp stone with a maximum of 74 hp stones, a trip in later lvl's will cost you money half the time, with a slight chance of profit if you get lucky and find some silver lumps. This is especially true when considering the fact that fighters burn through sp stones as well.
On stun - it's not guaranteed to work, the only thing it's really useful for in pvp is stunning archers or mages so you don't have to chase them down. Why waste skill points on empowering the duration of stun when damage or sp reduction can be empowered on other skill's.
Pvp - Cleric(lvl 47) vs Fighter(lvl 48) - Stalemate, Teq and I tested this when the battle zone 1st came out. We agreed to stop after 5 minutes when both of us had hardly used any stones.
Mages - they're the best class for soloing at 40+ imo, sure they have low def but their kill speed is fantastic, they're probably about as expensive to lvl as fighters. I'll add that the lvl 45-50 solo arena event was won by a mage with a staff that wasn't even enhanced to +3.
