If you're trying to be a "tank archer", you want END, not DEX. Definitely. I've seen some impressive archer tanking in goblin camp and CP, and both archers I saw were SPR/END.

Yes, but the STR bonus is calculated after every other calculation is done. So if you're dealing 250 damage now, adding 50 strength will boost that to 300 damage.

Definitely END rings. The bonus from STR equipment is much less than the same amount of +STR via free stats, due to the mitigation aspect of monster defense.

Go with pure END rings until 35, then...
