Difference Closed Beta - Open Beta

Is there actually the slightest difference between closed and open beta? What did they do in the time between closed beta end and open beta start?
Just wipe all charakters and stuff cant take that...

Is there any way to disable those friend invites? Its annoying to get permanently invited from people who didnt even said a single sentence to you. Just because of those stupid titles they invite...
