Scrolls obviously help too. Any little extra bump you can get soloing. They cost, but you get the added benifet of faster kills which help boost exp faster. They pay for themselves.

I think Cleric's do ok, Yeah sure, you spend alot on stones, but if your party treats you right, you do get a share of the loot. That pays for stones and you get excellent exp if your guild cares...
