You don't really need a Cleric helping you but they do help big time. I've tanked a lot of stuff as a Mage. I have died plenty of times but thats due to my own carelessness or people just being lazy....

I'm 18 and thats old enough to know plenty but still young. Staves is the plural form of Staff. Meaning that Staves is more than one Staff where as Staff is just a single Staff.
