Teaming Monsters and Lagggggggggggg......
 

OMG! Freaking aggressive monsters keep teaming me!!!! I'm usually playing as my lvl. 18 mage and whenever I go into the Sea of Greed, it never fails! I'm not in there 15 seconds and I have a freaking mini pinkie and a boogy on my tail. Now one at a time, I can manage them no problem, but when they're both attacking me at once my lag it just too much and they kill me before the screen moves! That's another thing! FREAKING LAGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!! Every single time I'm about to finish a quest or about to level up, I die because of lag... I HATE IT... although, it's prolly not the game's fault as much as it is my computer which is kinda old and the hardware isn't exactly up to speed.... anyway, I'm prolly not the only one with this problem.................... it angers me..................:angry:

Yeah i get teammed all the time coz I'm a cleric (no range attack)...

One thing to keep in mind is, ALL mobs aggro from here on in... you'll hv to keep a look out on mobs near you and dont get close to them...

another interesting thing i found is... mobs can "see" better when you're in front of them, than when you're behind them...

Like... I can be standing 5 metres away but if the mob is facing me, it will more than likely come and attack me..

if the mob has their back towards me, i could be 2 metres away before it sense me...

but.. as a mage... you have to learn to shoot from from afar (pull a mob out from the crowd), and not get too close to other mobs.. hope that helps!

SEG is the devil for teaming monsters.

Died in SEG today because I couldn't get rid of the monsters trailing behind me because the map was too small. -.-

the 3 nox in Land of Trial are worst!

there's a trio there that comes and goes together (like bored imps + buddies and Sharp boars + buddies)

you attacking, they all come back and hit u.. but they do magic attack too.. its almost like hving 3 "masic staffs" hitting u at the same time..

Most of the time for me ;_;

You do know that some more monsters are linked now right.


As in, if you draw one, it draws a few of its friends along with it. Most of the time though, just gotta be aware of your range.

I am a fighter i like getting ganged with a few monsters sometiems that i need to kill for quest, that because i don't need to look for them.

Its normal for everyone, and yes its annoying! I rarely die from it....but if you just keep going and dont stop, they usually dont do much damage.

Unless....you're about to train someone, then its not cool xD

Actually, I can usually avoid it, but I'm an archer that solos in a manner to avoid using as much stones/pots as possible so... *shrugs*

But from what I've seen, pretty normal~

I get teamed but im usualy fine with it and get out of the situation as i am a tanking fighter so my hp is high enough to cope, i only died twice once when i logged into a aggro area while lagging and yes2day with the monster maker dragon which decided to lag me to like 0.8 frames per minute haha >< :err:
