...Not sure if this has been brought up or not, but aaaaanyway..

Whenever I click on Smith James while playing as my Lvl. 10 fighter, my game client closes without warning.... I don't know what to do.... I can't start or complete any quests and it's starting to get me frustrated.... :angry:

if you can offer any suggestions or advice that might help (besides just not clicking him) I'd love to hear anything.... :smile:

yeah, its a bug since the last patch...

i dont think anyone has came up with a solution yet, except to not talk to him and move onto other quests...

we can only twiddle our thumbs and wait...

Seems to me like they know about the issue and is working to get it fixed soon!

It should be just for some people though, right? Because I've been talking to Smith James a lot yesterday for some enhancing and quests...and it was ok with my characters...:/ Sucks though...hope it gets fixed for many other people with similar troubles..

I think it's only when the person have a quest with Smith James that they get disconnected. You know how sometimes after you complete a quest, you go to the NPC and the first thing they say is quest related? Maybe it's that. So if you don't have a quest and the default dialogue pops up, it wouldn't disconnect you.

i have the same problem only with the bored Imps quest.. i cant look at it in my quest log (DC) or talk to the NPC (James) to turn it in (DC). so I just try not to do any of the quests he offers.

If that happens, just relogg...and ignore that quest. Its a pretty common error, I believe their gonna fix it shortly.

I believe not all quest from Smith James is bugged... only the Bored Imp or w/e Imp quest...

which is at lvl... 7-8ish?
