Is it good for a lvl 38 cleric to solo 2 King Colls and a weakened ogre?

Yeah but its not all worth it.. u kill to slow in CP

You're a cleric right? Level 38? Get your fluffy butt to Uruga =P

My level 38 fighter does good there, even without scrolls and buffs. Being similar to clerics who can endure almost anything higher leveled compared to the DPS classes, you'd do good in Uruga regardless of your build [except for pure INT] yes, yes the killing is slow. But think about it, a few days [or even hours] left for the boost, and you'd get 1~1.2k exp per kill. =D XD

mmm, much faster kills with good xp versus slow kills for only slightly higher xp usually means faster killing nets more xp.


Especially for Clerics whos benefit in soloing is in how long they can go, not how fast/how many they can kill. GC might be better xp.

It takes too long and uses too many HP/SP stones/pots to kill mobs that much higher than you. Not to mention the length of time it takes to kill them. I find, that if I simply go to the next level map and kill, I still get really good exp and it does not take that much more effort to kill those mobs. So, if your quests are in Moonlight Tomb, go to Vine Tomb to kill the mobs. If you are in Vine Tomb, go to Goblin Camp.
Yes, the exp is great for killing mobs that are 20-30 levels higher than you, but compared to the time and mats you waste, it is really not worth it in the long run. not to mention, that if you are killing mobs that are too high, then they will rarely drop any drops to you. If you kill mobs your level or just slightly higher, you get a lot more drops and can sell/use those to help you with the pots/stones you do use.
This is true for all classes, not just clerics.

What about Graveyard of the Abyss?

I tend to stay out of the level limit maps unless I have a party. The mobs are harder to kill in there, than outside. The exp is better, but once again, you are using more stones/pots/time to take them down.
