How To Change Your Font!
 

Navigate your way to the FONT.ini file mine was located here:

(This is the DEFAULT installation path for Fiesta)

C:\Program Files\Outspark\Fiesta\ressystem\

Once you are in there scroll threw the files and you will find one called font open that up in a text document preferably notepad you should see something like this:

veradan 1
veradan 0

the numbers should be the font size obviously and veradan is the font you see. I changed mine to comic sans ms because I like that font you can open up adobe photo shop and check out some other fonts or even open Paint which almost everyone should have. Heres an example of what mine looks like:

comic sans ms 2
comic sans ms 1

After you found what you want just replace the old ones with the new ones save and close the file and launch Fiesta.


PS: Not sure if this is already posted on there forums. I posted it on the Fiesta forums cuz of so many people complaining about it so here you go hope it helps.

Useful tip.

I'm gonna reset the fonts back to original uber microscopic size, because the big font now is annoying.

Just wondering - is this considered a legal mod?

I think changing fonts is against the Outspark terms of service, but it will be allowed until a GM/Outspark official says otherwise.

technical: no, its not alowed after all its a modification of the game ressources. Pratictly i doubt they will have any reservations against it, becouse changing the font will most likely not change the game balance.

to the legal stuff: its complety legal to change that file, if they want it or not. But they coud still ban u for the modification.

Or to put in other words: its complety legal to read and modify anything on ure computer, but ure not allowed to steal code, or deactivate any kind of protections, but there also exceptions. And u should inform yourself how the laws are in ure country.

Yes thank you so much for clearing that up for everyone, I just guessed on the spelling as I had already changed my font and I figured anyone with half a brain could tell I was talking about "Verdana" im very sorry to mix up letters but like I said thanks so much for pointing it out to everyone now all the complete idiots will understand it better.
