a good guide to stats on equipment is to take into account the items lvl requirement, class and stat bonuses.

Of all 5 stats, only 4 are really beneficial to a class at a given time. INT is useless to everyone but Mages, and STR is useful for everyone but Mages.

Take the items base lvl. requirement and divide it by 2. Consider this to be high or the max for item in beneficial stats. eg:- lvl 50 shield will have up to 25+ max for a given stat, eg +25 END

If the item has a good number of stats (4/5 of the useful ones for that class)
near the hypothetical max of that items required equip lvl. divided by two,
then you have a 'godly' item.

Ohh I didn't know that... xD

That would mean I have a "godly" 1h sword for my upcoming level.

@Flowers: Up until I reached 56 I had been using a level 36 helm. ToT
