A question to melbournians

Who here has heard of the melbourne shuffle? I just found out about it 10 minutes ago.

Didn't you tell me this ages ago? Shuffle is a dance style or something in Melbourne?

One of the reasons I'll always dislike the melbourne shuffle is because all the kiddies think it's the greatest thing ever, yet if you look carefully it doesn't really need much talent to pull off. Shuffle, shuffle, then kick, shuffle, shuffle, then kick. Wave arms around in any manner you please. Another reason I probably dislike it so much is because this dance "supposedly" represents Melbourne, yet because it lacks complexity, I find it insulting.

Serious cases of gum getting stuck on the bottom of their shoes. D:

YES DYNAMICS! Someone who shares my view!

Must've been someone else that told you.

Personally, I don't think its that bad, not much different to crip walking.

Either that, or the people at my school make it look REALLY crap.

I told you, didn't I?

And yes, this dance style is just stupid.

The male cleric has a dance style similar to shuffling.

Hell no! I can c-walk somewhat, and it is hella lot different to shuffling.

LMAO!

Oh must have been Chinh then. Well I'm getting mixed up with all these melbourneish conversations I'm having! xD

It's ok. I don't love it or hate it. But I couldn't stop laughing at some bits because it reminded me of this funny Korean celeb in this variety show:

You can skip to 57 seconds to watch that little bit. It wasn't this particular "dance" that the shuffle reminded me, but he did another silly one similar to that which cracked me up, except I can't find it on youtube.
