yeah..viasta is always bored and wants to make random videos, but i don't know what free program for shooting videos, anyone care to help me??

Blah or Spirit, can I get an url to those websites that you downloaded from? I dont trust other websites unless you give it to me, then i'll trust it for there should be no virus :P

Fraps isn't free for full functions but you can use the trial version - where you can only record for 30 seconds max. I use fraps myself more than hypercam.

Um it's pretty good. The files you save are a lot smaller by default than fraps, I think, not sure.

They're both about the same, but I think fraps gives higher quality --> bigger file sizes, and hypercam gives lower quality --> lower file sizes.

Depends how picky you are. I'm just really picky about quality and don't care about file sizes so I use fraps. But whenever I need to record something for longer than 30 seconds then I use hypercam.
