I haven't made a website in awhile so I was wondering what is a good free web host. Thanks in advance!

A web host is someone who can host a series of your files for your website. I've signed up with GeoCities but it's not the best... has an ugly ad at the right but that's what I get for free web hosting. :P

Why not host yourself? Totally free then...(i'm assuming you dont dialup)
What kinda traffic/usage you plannin on?

Was thinkin about this last night (for other reasons :)...if GeoCities is good enough google has its "Page Creator" http://pages.google.com

Also Microsoft/MSN has its own flavor, but I haven't looked into it coz I heard that Google was better.

Well if you have a spare computer lying around there's a couple ways!

1. Download and install apache (don't ask me to walk you thru it)
2. Buy a copy of Windows server 2003(this I can help with becuase it's a little easier)
3. I think there is a linux server operating system thats free as well.

(this is of course assuming that you have high speed internet and at least one static ip)

After you have done one of the above, you can design your own page with simple html or html with css.

If none of this made sense then goto www.geocities.com and make a free one!:D
