Any good free antivirus programs?
 
Hi, I'm currently using AntiVir and I was wondering if you guys knew any other good ones that I could use. Kinda low on cash so... meh.Thankz

I don't use it anymore, but I used to. It is VERY reliable as lvramire said, I highly suggest it!

Just stick with AntiVir. It's probably the best freebie out there and ranks second only to NOD32 in terms of heuristics. AVG/AVAST ranked lower than 70 percentiles on some tests so I wouldn't switch from AntiVir if I were you. Also if you have some nasty virus problems that you can't seem to get off of your computer try using the NOD32 trial to get rid of them. :)

I used to use AVG and Spybot both. They always caught the stuff that triedto get in my comp

I think they are all subject to intrusion by a virus now and again. I use Avast, I have been very happy with how it handles stuff. I think avoiding p2p, hacks, cracks and warez has been the best solution for me so far.

Adaware is good too. I use AVG, Spybot S & D and Adaware.

Adaware and SpyBots S&D for me keep my computer safe from teh l33t internet hax0rs lol.
