Okay in Honors World Lit, we have to do journals like everyday. We had alot of Free writes and sometimes I write like 2 pages worth of stuff I want to do with making a wolf refuge... goals in KeyClub... obsession with Keyclub... plans for a book im writing. But I decided to write a short story and a poem in two of them.

The poem
I've walked this path
for many years
The trees are dead and rotten
the dirt as black as night
I walk this path in sorrow
as I have for many years.

Today someone's path joined mine
an old friend from long ago
I smiled at him and he at me
as we walked our new path
-Hand in hand.

Now I look back on that day
when he saved me from myself and I saved him
We both had take the wrong path at a fork in life
I just know if that last path we had taken a different one
we would both walk alone forever
But I see now the chanced was wort it in the end.

hmm the poem seems too direct...:/ but otherwise, i think it's good...if I got the meaning right :P
