OMG, today was the best and most memorable school day for me!!!
At 1:55 PM (my time, of course) today during my math class, as my teacher was explaining to us how to use double angle formulas, we received an announcement from my principal saying that there was a tip-off about a bomb in the school in the school library that was supposed to go off at 2 PM.
We were told that everyone had to evacuate the school, and be supervised by teachers to go into other schools to be checked off. Now, today was a short period day for us, which means that school was supposed to end at 2:20 PM, and this fact immediately made everyone go "WTFH? Now we have to stay over?!?!". And when people actually reached the schools, they were just told to go home, without any checking off, followed by more "WTH?" and "THIS IS BULL!". OMG, I will never forget the look on my principals face! I have never seen her so pissed off. |
That seems strange. I was under the impression that under a bomb scare, the fire alarms would be activated to evacuate people, but the less people that know about it the better...
|
It was the end of the day, so what's the point of turning on the alarms if you're not coming back to the school later after the threat was proven faulty or extinguished?
|
Yeah at my school someone just pulls the fire alarm :3
We had to stand outside for 3 hours. =/ Lol then the idiot that called it in didn't realize that the school has caller ID... we got him fast. Needless to say he was expelled. |
