KQ optimisation
I am training a cleric as my alt, and after a few Slime KQ's I was wondering: is there an easy way to select people not in your party?
To select the members of my party it's as easy as F2, F3, F4 etc, and I can see their health on the left of my screen. However when it comes to healing people that arn't in my party, it can get very frustrating - I need to find the person that has the aggro and then try and click on them - not easy where there's several people all in the same place. Is there some key combination that I don't know about? Something like tab for monsters, but that's used on players? Or do any of you clerics out there have any tips? Thanks |
Hmm..not really.
Especially in KQs like Mara where every melee class is trying to squeeze in that sweet spot where Aoe doesn't effect (but then the MT should be all by him/herself out front) or Robo where several chars. interlap over each other, I don't think there's any hot-key to scroll through players. In later KQs. people tend to know more about what they are doing and so often space a bit further apart for easier outside-healing...or at least it seems that way to me. |
As far as I know... i dont think so...
i had the same problem in MD KQ too.... (MD's butt always get in the way) i'll go hit my head on the wall if there is such shortcut =p |
I know how you feel, on my cleric...SO fustrating. All I do is click the party member really fast, but click on their names on the left of the screen, you know, where it shows party members.

Oh yeah I know how you feel! I remember having a hard time finding the tanks in KQs (especially in the lower level ones) where all the fighters bunch up together and I can't tell who's tanking! And when I click frantically at different spots, it always clicks the non-tanker, the mob, back to non tanker.
Sometimes I click a player then tab to see if it will tab to other players but it doesn't always work from memory... always tabs to the mob. |
Am I right in thinking that all right-click does is pan the screen or give trade request etc. options on players?
If that's the case, might it be worth sugesting to outspark that for clerics, right-clicking on a monster selects the person it has aggro towards? |
What Is MD ?
By The way i do agree |
