A fantastic website that lets you expand your vocabulary while simultaneously helping out those who starve in the world. Basically it'll give you a word and ask which out of four possibilities is it synonymous to.
For example:

Simply click the best answer, in this case I would click acclaim (approval with enthusiasm), and I'd get a message telling me I'm correct. On the right of the question board it'd tell me I've donated 20 grains of rice so far. If you don't get it right, FreeRice will tell you what word you should've picked, and no rice will be deducted.
If you get enough right in one go, it will reassess your vocabulary level and give you harder words to work with! The system works sort of like the experience points in fiesta, except you can't miss too many in a row or else you'll drop a vocabulary level. Hit enough, and you'll level up, receiving harder words to work with.
The rice is paid for through multiple sponsors, you can even become a sponsor yourself!
But of course the best way to understand how it works is to go there yourself! I really recommend everyone do this.
