maximize damage
what build maximizes ur damage? 25 spr +all str or a str and spr ratio
using bow too |
I'd go for +25spr rest +str for max dmg.
|
Yup, nothing else... Unless you want to go full STR then you'll have to miss the crit bonus out...
|
Unless you happen to be a CS user with crit gear...
|
Yea go with 25 spr and all str. It's probably the most damage, with those criticals and all. :]

There are ups and downs of getting that crit bonus, though.
An up side is that you will get to deal double damage every now and then, but a down side is that it's a random chance thing and if you don't get it than you don't. I party with a full STR archer and he loves it. A good thing about being full str is that you will certainly get that extra bit of damage, as opposed to possibly getting double damage. Then again, with that 25 SPR also comes extra magic defense and SP. So yeah, pretty much what you prefer. |
What Blaaaahs said xD Keep in mind that criticals are not based on luck, but on chance. But yeah, if you want to make sure you're always hitting for extra damage, full str is a pretty good option. |
I personally would say though that the advantage of SPR (extra MDEF and SP) is important, if only because I burn through SP like a bamboo forest on fire. (And I have no idea how to properly optimise it.)

I noticed that when I solo, I tend to lose more hp than sp, which makes sense... I don't have enhanced armour and I take some damage. Straight forward enough. Conversely, I use a lot more sp than hp when I'm in a party with a fighter or a cleric (don't need to burn sp as much). So you can choose anywhere on the spectrum to suit how you play. My preference is going with more sp - skill spamming = more fun! :D |
Haha, yeah, I burn much more SP when I'm partying/AoEing than anything else @-@ But anyways, either way, 25 SPR full STR or just full STR, you'll be a nice DDer o: it really just depends on what you're willing to sacrifice for another, and your playing style. |
