Hot Key useage<-- might not b spelled right!

ok. i just turned lv 25. i always use hotkeys
i put all my buffs and things that give bonus def in my "shift+(1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,0,-,=)" section
i put restore along with heal, bash and revive and (horse)
in my "1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,0,-,=" section
I was wondering if i should put,
1-item pick up,2-heal,3-bash,4-restore OR
1-item pick up,2-heal,3-restore,4-bash OR
1-item pick up,2-bash,3-restore,4-heal OR
1-item pick up,2-restore,3-heal,4-bash.
And i need ur opinion on which is better, heal[3] or restore[1]? THANX IN ADVANCE:D

Heal is better than Restore. But you should use both.

Heal will about always be better than restore.

Heal almost instantly resolves and heals for a large chunk of HP. Restore raises a small amount of HP over time so is less useful.

A good way to use restore is in a party or to heal faster when shrooming. Restore life-tapping mages and party-members who are taking damage but not enough to deviate your healing from the Tank.

Asto the hot-bar thing, just go with the combination which makes it easiest to use Heal. You will be using it the most.

Since the 3 key is closest to your W and E, I suggest placing the highest possible Heal in that position. Beyond that, however, it is your preference.

Restore heals more than Heal in the long run, but it is over a long period of time. When you are in trouble, you'll want Heal to be easily accessible.

'Q' and 'E'?

[unless you change it for some reason]

No, W. For walking.

I rarely used stones, even when under serious flak.

Heal is usually better since u cant exactly spam restore, but if u are soloing then heal may heal more HP than ur max, which would be quite pointless and just waste SP.

As for hotkeys, i guess anything that u are used to is fine... for me my hotkeys were: 1-attack, 2-pick up item, 3-bash, 4-heal, and 8-restore. (yes, i use 2 hands, and find it hard to get used to changes in my hotkey settings)

Heal will never heal more HP than your max (unless you're an extremely low level) - provided you're smart and actually use all levels of Heal. Lower level Heals not only save you SP, but give you more HP per SP point.

Heal is always superior. Restore is nice though, just as an extra aid.

Maybe not exactly more HP than u have, but like an 800 HP heal for someone who has about 1k HP? its quite wasteful, if u wait for ur HP to become 200 before healing urself and the monsters deal about 100 damage each, its a bit risky...

well, this is wat I do, but i guess as with anything, its all about getting use to your hotkey, so you'll be fast and efficient, wherever you put your keys

1 - Attack (i always do tab+1 to select monsters...)
2 - Pick up
3 - Heal
4 - Restore (so 3+4 goes together most of the time)
5 - Bash - Since it has a longer cooldown, i left it a bit further away as i wont be spamming it as often)

Where you put your buff is up to you really, since it doesnt get spammed....

I've also assigned my SP Stone key to ` <-- which is the key to the left of your number 1 (same key as ~ without the shift).... i dont hit that key by accident (like i do with Q and E) and its really close to your fingers!
