Is dex useful? o.o
 

Ok i have a quick question. Do you think dex can be useful? I never red something about dex on clerics.. everyone talks about end str or spr, but i think dex can be useful too. I was thinking of an 2:1 dex str or an 2;1 str dex build, so i can get enough evasion, to evade the attacks instead of making the damage i get lower, by adding points to end.

Don't waste points in dex, lol. You can get the same effect from scrolls for dex. >_> However, end and spr are much more beneficial.

Its useful for archers.

Dex can be useful... however~~

I've never really had any trouble with aim, until level 56, where I went to AEW and FoS with parties... and even with T2 aim scroll, i miss like half the hits with a hammer...

So, seeing that i have no DEX buit, I bought a heap of gear with Dex stats on them... (at lvl 5x its very easy to find dex gear XD) and it was great!

But, although my aim increased, i dont feel like the mobs miss me much, so if you're trying to add dex to increase evasion, i'm afraid you'll be disappointed.

You'll be better off getting dex from your gear, rather than using it from free stat. SPR from free stat gives extra crit %, but you dont get the crit % from SPR in gear, I believe same with block rate for END?? (may need someone to clarify that)

so it's more beneficial for you to use those dex points for END or SPR rather than DEX...

I like DEX too, I have a heap of DEX from my gear only, and you wouldn't believe how many times I am not hit in battle. I also (as was just pointed out) noticed that it really depends on the mobs, Higher level mobs *will* hit more often than lower or at least closer to your lvl mobs. But I also agree, Get your DEX from gear and put your points into something else like SPR.

Im 50 end 25 spr rest str and I agree with Hessah with all but the missing part. When i was in 50 levels I desided to go High dex with gear I had over 130+ i dex (actually all my stats was stacked exept spr. I just had 30 in it....Simply godly gear >.<). Man is there a diffrence orcs and Blue Trumpies miss me like crazy like evey 3-5 blow(with some blocks in there as well). I hit ALL the time and i heal WWWAAAYY less....Its the most underrated skill in the game but should be used from gear only. Do not waste from free stats!
