this guy... wow... if i did papers like that in school to harvard i'd go

Unfortunately, the guy hasn't taken a look at the definitive skill tables:

Otherwise, he wouldn't be saying some of the stuff he is.

Also, this was written a long time ago, or with little experience too.

If you notice, the "Mage party" is largely lacking validity.

Having 3 level 60+ mages results in quick kills before devastate wears off on the highest level monsters in the Forest of Slumber.

Although this is generic, he really should have divided the party-types into respective level ranges.

Alot of the information seems impractical because axe-fighters can tank.

Furthermore, you dont need to empower mock or kick at all. Axe tankers can keep aggro through high-hits of devastate.

That guide needs a tuning.

Yeah as good as it may seem its to old for the times. It needs tuning but its still great work.

I happen to be a girl, and yes I do lurk these forums. ;D
I wrote the guide based on my own experiences and experiments with tanking. I didn't mean to state that Axe warriors could not tank, It's is just that I'm giving a overview of the builds and applying them to the situations they are most useful in for tanking itself. And in most cases a full End build seems to fit the bill. That doesn't mean with the use of scrolls and other items that they cannot tank, heck yesh I've seen it many a time. As to the lack of party make ups, I'm just generalizing the information in a more simple format so that new players can have some understanding as to how to tank and what builds are normally the most useful at it. If I go to into detail about every little thing the reader will lose focus at the points I'm trying to make. However I'll take all that you have said into consideration and will try to update it all. I thank you for the complents on it as well. =3 If you all want to see anything else added then by all means let me know.

Seras' guide is win. I wish you had given a more detailed skill build though...but that's just me...I need step-by-step instructions for everything lol.

thumbs up for being well-written and more importantly, well organized.

True that, my skill section is a bit all over the place at the moment. I'll be getting to working it out and adding a few more skill empowerments tips some time this weekend. :3
And I thank you for the kind words Ulrike.
