So, can somebody tell me the basics of production skills?

You can only learn 2

Every time you make a potion, stone, or scroll the skill level of that production skill goes up by 1. To make better stuff, you need a higher skill level.

I'm not too sure on which is the best for money, but I think it's Stone.

Potion making and scroll making for noobies

Stone making for your mule to make money with later....

I have three characters and each has a type of production skill. I think the Scroll and Stone combination is good. Stones usually suffice for me anyway, so I rarely used HP or SP pots. Stone makes a lot of money, and scrolls do too but the materials are harder to get, I think? Well, I don't often get summoned beast leathers for scrolls, while I always get mats to make stones (it could be just the monsters I've been fighting). But yeah, scrolls are good because you can use them yourself to train as well, so you can sell and use them, depending what you want to do.

What about the two new production skills? Has anyone tried those out yet? material decomposition and material composition.

my fighter has material composition now but i needed money before i could use it but it's just to upgrade materials for creating things such as turning low quality spirit fruit into spirit fruit etc. it uses the alchemy stones that you can buy from the item merchant and it takes multiple of whatever it is you're trying to upgrade such as 16 low quality spirit fruit + the alchemy stone = spirit fruit
