Had a guildie tell me that I couldn't do this when I asked. Then I ran across this thread today, so I was wondering if anyone could confirm......

Not necessarily the Vitality scroll production, but with any production skill.

Yup, you can. But then again I was in BK...

I didn't learn the mentality scroll but when I got to t2 scrolls I was able to learn it without getting the t1.

Hmm... too many things are different from the US version and BK..... Wonder if I can try this with some other scroll.

I think I have some t2 skills to learn without having the predecessors, I'll log on real quick to see.

It'd be quite unfair if you had to learn all the skills leading up to a certain tier. I would understand if all of the productions skills were available to you from the NPC. But you have to find them all from drops... and it's not even common. :/

Argh, I had no scrolls to learn and I Thought maybe I could check my decomp but the crushed bone I didn't learn isn't available until t3 I Think. >< doh!

Oh, I know that on decomp and comp you do not have to learn the previous one. Cuz, I skipped Beast Leather on my comping, but then later decided I needed it and went back to it. Hmmm.... now I cant wait to get home and try this out.

Makes them T3 Vitality scrolls look more appealling to me.
