Australia Post sux!!!!

Customer service wise..

we're charged for a Postal box rental at work... and usually we get some paper work that we say "yes we'll pay for it" then they charge our account...

this time they just charged it... ok fine... i just want some paper work for it... called the account manager "do u see the 1300 number on the corner? call that" and practically hung up on me

then i call that number... they faxed me some crap that said nothing!

then i called another number.. wanted 5 mins only to be told "our business line number is now xxxx"

i called that... waited 10-15 mins.. and they go "i cant print anything for you.. want me to put u through to accounts department?"

well no thx i was just there half an hr ago!

I've still got nothing i need after an hr... and my boss is gonna come in and go "where's the piece of paper?"

ARGH!!!

^Lol.

Here in the states, we have a little thing called the "DMV". Its like what you said, but 10x worse.

Hessah 03-07-2008 04:47 AM

is DMV a company?

ohh and one of the thing i called was a "voice guest" thing or something or rather.. and it goes -answering machine voice- "please tell me what you would like?"

and i was like "a PO Box renewal statement" and it goes "a pricing statement, am i right?"

"no"

"please tell me what you would like?"

"A-P-O-Box-re-new-al-state-ment"

"a pricing statement? Am I right?"

"NO!" -hangs up

LMAO! In Vancouver radio there's a ad that does just that and depicts how annoying it is!! My sister told me about how she had to go through it and in the end she swore at the thing and hung up. They say it's recorded to 'ensure best service'... so you can just imagine what kind of recordings are left. :P

the directv voice thing is awesome. when i went home for fall break last semester my satellite wasn't working for some reason. i called and got the voice recognition. i was skeptical at first of course but it asked me a few questions and apparently understood everything and then it told me to turn my tv on and it was working <3
