Trainers
Okay, well, I'm sure we've all been trained someway or the other. There's been many rants about this, about so and so training another so and so.
But don't you just get sooooooo annoyed when you get trained and couldn't catch the person who's training you? I've been having times when I'd see someone zoom past on their raccoon or something, and then a flock of mobs comes running after them, and then after me! Usually I would wanna catch their name, so I can scream about it in guild/party chat or something.. saying "BLAHBLAH JUST TRAINED ME DAYUMM" just to make myself feel better. But having to only be able to say "I got trained" and not "I got trained BY BLAHBLAH" doesn't relieve my frustration enough!! The other day, me and wacky came across an INVISIBLE trainer. We didn't see anyone that passed by but suddenly, a heap of prisoners and torturers came stomping through our training area, then back towards us! We lived, we lived. But still... LOL. Not sure if someone really trained, or some weird mob bug happened, but yeah. @-@" Don't you just wish to catch the people who trains you?! I doooo. |

You trained yourself? Woooo that's talent. |
When I get trained, I either don't care enough to do anything, or train them back. Or I tell them I'll infect them with AIDS, then block them.
Actually, a few days ago Tazer trained me with a Queen Spider, then scrolled away. WHOOSH! There goes my respect! Quote:

For the most part, I concur.
However, there are a few exceptions. For example, if you're on that pathway to Uruga...that is a travel route. You cannot complain if someone is merely traveling and trains a mob there. Now, if you're in a secluded area and someone deliberately runs you over...that's frustrating. But paths, with their oh-so-clearly lighter patches, are paths. You can't complain if someone's riding along on the path. The solution? Stay away from paths. |
Lately i dont think i've been trained by any passer-bys that i cant handle the train... so i dont hv anything to complain about there...
BUT i do get annoyed at people that lose their AOE train... its like.. hey dude! u just took all the mobs in my area, and lost it all again so it all came bouncing back all over me!! and yeah... i agree with triumph about training on the path... well... this one is a hard one coz almost everywhere u train is a path... if i know i've got a train, and the ppl i'm running towards are low level and doesnt look like they can handle the mobs.. then i'll get off and help them... a few times i've died like that by king colls coz i got off to help but i died instead...... |
I've had that happen before in SEG, lmao. Suddenly a STAMPEDE of harkans and ogres paraded by me on harkan hill quite near the gate but I Saw nooooooobody. Maybe it was just national monster parade day D=

It's possible that those trains with no conductors are just taking a shortcut back to where they were. I've seen it happen several times where I see a huge train of mobs stampeding away in a distance and you know somebody else was trained. I usually do stop and help if I notice that I did train someone except when I'm on the path to and from Uruga. It's a well known path and people should know to remove themselves if they see a raccoon passing by.

I admit I've conducted my fair share of trains, but usually only in the "highway" areas, so I don't complain if I get trained anymore, lmao. Just make the best effort to stay away from highway areas D:
