his heart just stopped... and his liver failed, and he had a blood infection. all at the same time.

He had apendicitis the last time we heard any work was going to be done to him.

Well... I'm already phoning with my love all the way in Germany... and just talking to her is helping me loads...

I just can't believe it...

and I knew someone was dead as soon as I picked up the phone because the convo with my Oma started the same way as last time.

she calls up, crying, and I hand it to my mum.

the first thing that is always said.

"Calm down. What's wrong?"

Deja vú from 2 years ago.

There really isn't anything one can do or say to make things better.



Nevertheless, hope you and all who knew and love your family pull through.

This isn't the end of the world...

but it sure as hell is one of the worst parts of it.
