Which of these weapons would you use?
 

My fighter has been stopped at 43 for a while now, and my wife and I have been farming the Giant Goblin Kings. We have been pretty lucky and yesterday found ALL the fighter weapons. 1-handed sword,2-handed and axe. Now, I have enough coin to buy some red eyes and I am upping one of them to +6-9(whenever the red eyes run out). Which one should I use? I have been using an axe, and I wanted to use the axe, but the goblin king axe is only damage, nothing else. The 1-handed/2-handed swords both have great bonuses(+10-20 in ALL stats), while the axe is only +20DEx, nothing else. Also, they all have exactly the same critical, 5%. I tried them all out last night and they all killed in pretty much the same speed, when I get criticals, the axe is a monster, but if skills fail and criticals don't happen, the axe is nothing special. I was thinking the 1-hander might be nice as it has 5%crit rate and adds 20STR to boot, but I just don't know. I mainly solo or play with my wife's cleric, so killing speed is more inportant than a shield,but I found wearing the shield greatly lowered the stones and pots I am spamming. What do you guys/gals think??

if you solo, axe is the way to go. the ggk axe allows for +393 damage at +9, the 1h allows for +214??? someone confirm. if i am not exactly right i am close. i have a +9 cg axe, i crit on orcs for well over 1400 with no license, i did the same with my +9 ggk even if the stats arent GREAT, go with the axe

if you are enhancing, go with the axe. the dex, if nothing else, brings the axe on par with all the other weapons for aim. If you want to crit more, think about putting a liscense on it and work at it.

if for no other reason, i'd use the axe for that occasional moment when my power hit crits so i can just say "zomg big number"
