Has stopped making anime subs, because people were putting them on Veoh/YouTube without credit.

That sucks.

It's not because they weren't getting credit, according to them, it's because they were getting credit and it was drawing more attention to them. I don't believe that though. I think it's because they want people to download from them and bolster their download numbers.

Honestly, I still don't believe them even if they say it isn't one of their insipid little YHBT "jokes", but I truly hope they are gone. I can't stand those arrogant little pricks and I don't download their releases anyway. The only show they sub that I might care about anymore is Genshiken 2 and there is another group that does it better.

Their releases are decent for speed subs, but not all that great and there are alternative groups for everything they do so it won't be the end of the world for Narutards and Bleach fans either.

I personally don't like Naruto, but Bleach is teh secks. Naruto just annoys the hell out of me. He's a loudmouth nub with ADHD, no offense to fans...

I just liked how fast Dattebayo would sub them, and the font they used. Some fonts are ridiculous.
IMO, they're acting kinda primadonna-ish.

And why on earth would a site want less hits?

Because subbing is illegal, and if they get too well known, then they can be shut down. It's in that announcement they made.
