What is fame used for?
 

Seriously what does fame do/ help to accomplish at later parts of the game?

I wasted my first 400fame to a mage's AOE scroll.
I was pretty amused to see the zero cost from the item merchant plus i was eager to try out the aoe and hence i bought the scroll using my fame, only to realize thereafter.

A worried man now.

Hello worried man~ there's really not too much to be worried about....

Fame isused to purphase some of the skills (such as the level 20 and level 60 skills), and also Alchemy Stones.

Alchemy stones are used for decomposition / composition production skills. (Each 1 item u comp/decomp you need 1 alchemy stone). Alchemy stones also come in different level for different levels of comp/decomp.

As we know, the level 20 skill you can actually get for free from a quest, but for the level 60 skill (which requires 10k fame points), we're still unsure if this can be obtained for free from quest too, so we're just waiting for a high level to tell us that....

If you are not comping and decomping, you can always sell the alchemy stones for easy money. There are always shops set up buying them.

Since people are using fame to buy alchemy stones, I guess the reduction of my mere 400 fame doesn't mean much then :)

Are there any Titles that you can get for having high levels of Fame?

Not sure about the title thing, but if there is I will never get it, lol. Once I found out that the level 60 skill could be obtained through quests and I did not have to buy it with fame, I started using up my fame on alchemy stones.

It would be interesting to create a character and lvl all the way doing every single quest and never spending any fame to see it all maxed out!

It should be totally possible to do with other characters to supplement the comp/decomp skills and spend their fame for stones... or simply buy them from other players.
