Question about scrolls and skills...
I have obtained some tier one scrolls (concentration increase if i remember correctly) and tier one potions (strength increase) from quests, but i have both potion and scroll production skils but cannot find them under step 1. does anyone know how to make or obtain more of such scrolls?
Also, i have heard that skills like divinity and evasion, when learned, improves the evasion/sp gained from subsequest level ups, and that these skills must be learnt as soon as possible. can anyone please confirm if this is true? thank you. |
I have about the same sort of question. I have the scroll and production skills but only have the recipie for the HP potion. Is there a scroll recipie I need to obtain? I can make the HP potions but not the scrolls as it says I don't have the skill yet...but it shows I do have the 'skill'
I know I am being dumb and am just doing something wrong. But that is normal... |
As far as the scrolls and potions go, there are some that you can obtain as rewards for quests, but you will never be able to make.
Also, you have to buy the scroll recipes from the skill master before you can make them. Try clicking the over arrows at the bottom to look at all of the different recipes you can buy. |
i think Kamiitew you are getting confused between what the colours mean. When you look at your skills list you see all the skills in three colours, red, blue or yellow. Red means you dont have the production skill points required. Yellow mean you have the production skill points required but have not bought the learning skill from the skill master (NPC). Blue means you have learnt the skill and can use it. note: skill points increase every time you make a scroll.
NotMyWay I think you are asking if just learning the skill gives you bonus character stats? "when learned, improves the evasion/sp gained from subsequest level ups" This is not true. "concentration increase" is a scroll that cannot be learnt. If a skill can be learnt it will be in your list (or appear in your list when you reach the appropriate teir). strength increase is a potion at teir3, it improves strength and as a side bonus to make it useful to mages a increased crit rate. |
Actually what i meant is for skills like "divinity", which is a passive skill which increases maximum sp, does it only give a one time permanent increase in sp or does it boost the sp gained from leveling as well?
|
I believe it is only a one time permanent increase
|
I see... thanks
