advanced curveball tournament.
explanation:
on my old computer i started having this problem where the color of advanced curveball would be really messed up. this cause me to get a score of 21k in the tournament and then lower my second try. with only one try left i decided it was best to wait until it fixed itself or something, expecially with zivix having a score of 27k, which i usually had a difficult time beating for some reason or other (my highest curveball score up til today was actually 32k)

well, i got my new computer yestarday and decided to give it a try today. not only was the color better but it was so much smoother than it had been. i did a practice game and got like 26k and decide it was time to try.

since i only had one try left and zwivix had 2 i knew i'd have to get at least 30k (which has been difficult lately) to ensure my tournament victory. i started, i payed way more attention than usual and focused on teh game. i got to level 9 and slowly but surely made it to 26k, only a little left i know but then before i knew it i was at 30k. i lost anotehr ball, i was down to my last one. i had already won the tournament i was sure but i wanted to get higher, i wnated to beat the current high score. once again i focused in on the game. by the time i lost my ball and looked up i had reached 33k, higher the the current high score, but oh no it doesn't end there.

because it was a tournament match it didn't show up on the high score list, just as like the highest score ever on it or something like that. i had to play a non tournament game and do it again, but no, i couldn't settle for just beating that current high score i had to beat my high as well. and so i focused in again. i didn't lose a single ball til lvl 8 but then i started to choke. no i couldn't fail, i had already gone too far. i regained my focus, went in to lvl 9 with 3 balls at 28k. like an idiot i made mistakes.

i was down to my last ball and made it to 32k, just a couple hundred below the current high score. i focused on the game like never before. "Accuracy bonus!", "curve bonus!", "advanced curve bonus!" these words showed on my screen multiple times as i threw my mouse to every corner of the game trying to get the ball. i was no longer trying to beat the computer, i just wanted to survive. then, the ball curved when i didn't expect it to, i couldn't react in time, i was sure it was over, i was finished, all my effort was for nothing. i lowered my head in shame. but then i looked up and there it was, i had the top score, 34k!

Wow, that was an interesting read. xD You made it sound like a... The words I'm looking for escape me right now, but yeah, exciting. Anyways, congrats on the high score. That game is pretty fun, haha. Don't think I ever made it pass level 3 though... or was 5... I don't know, pretty low there.

Omg you made that stupid game sound so exciting!!! LOL!!!

I call it stupid because I'm never good at it. =P

But omg, I do the same thing when I play Snake, sometimes. And what's really bad is that when you lost, the computer makes a "DOH!!" sound, and sometimes my speakers are on pretty loud, so I always jump when it screams "DOH!!" when I lose.

i usually use all my balls at lvl 8/9.... within the space of 10 sec...

LOL i play at work so there's no sound... but once i played it at home.. and my snake jammed into a wall and it went "DOH!" OMG i almost fell out of my chair! scared the crap out of me!!

Jeez I was wondering when someone would beat my score...time to play again for the first time in like 5 months...LOL
