Graphics card malfunctioning?

When I was playing Fiesta today, my graphics card suddenly spazzed on me.

I closed the game, and I find out my graphics card is behaving strangely.

I remove it, and plug it into my parents' computer. Works fine.

I try it on my own computer, and my computer doesn't pick it up at all.

Thoughts on why this happened?

Plug in another another card if you have one and see if it works to find out if it's your agp/pci slot?

Reinstall drivers.

Place explosives in the case and detonate. :D

It's a PCI-E, and I only have one PCI-E card lol.

I've never had an AGP or PCI card, so can't do that...

Re-installed drivers, didn't do anything.

I think it's a physical problem, really. Maybe something broke in the slot or something. But I value this computer, so no explosives. X_X

Yeah it sounds like the slot is burned out and/or busted. New mobo mofo. dun dun dun

I don't know of another way to test it other than swappin in a different card, though, so I don't really know what to tell ya.

Probably time for a new motherboard then.
