[SpamBot] Removal - Avoidance
 

Hey everyone!



We've been looking very long into finding decent plugins and scripts to keep out these very anoying spam-bots from our forums.

Unfortunately these days they are a problem for almost any forum. Our system can not block them and they just keep increasing activity every day.

As a result, we have turned registration to "Requires Approval by an Admin".



What does this mean? You won't be able to post or make a thread till an Admin has cleared your account.

You can poke any of the admins via private message tho - which is fantastic since Spam-Bots don't know how to do this http://fiesta.gamigo.com/us/forum/wc...lies/smile.png



We realize it's not the finest solution but at the same time - it's better than having a forum full of spam-bot posting regarding free passports and such.
