FONA Weekly: New Faces and New Prizes

"Now add a tablespoon of this stuff,” Saeko instructed passing a jar of spices to Maeve.



"What exactly is it?” The new TGM inquired peering into the jar curiously.



"Lemme smell,” Aurora took the jar and sniffed thoughtfully. "Cinnamon…Vanilla…and…”



"Brown sugar!” Finished Saeko proudly.



The SGM was having a blast baking with the new Trainees. They had volunteered to help him keep up with Naerys and Lyra’s excessively high demand for baked goodies.



Meanwhile, the rest of the team was busy planning for a party.



It was Blizzard’s idea, she was over the moon with excitement after Soda had told her about the new trainees joining the team. "Oh my God guys, we need to make them feel welcomed!”



"I’ll help you train them!” Mena volunteered immediately.



"Yeah of course, but I was thinking something more exciting,” Blizzard said with a mischievous glint in her eyes.



"Are you thinking what I’m thinking?”Naerys also had the same excited, almost scary expression on her face!



"A PARTY!!!” Both girls shouted in unison.



"What’s this I hear about a party?” Ladius strolled into the room as if on cue.



Isis, who was making hissy faces at Grey and his laser-pointer, momentarily forgot her annoyance and spoke up, "That sounds great! Under one condition,” she raised an eyebrow before continuing, "Everyone helps out.”



"Grey, Mena and I can handle the decorations,” Cyclone offered, and dragged Grey away whispering excitedly about having a waterfall themed party with Mena trailing behind them trying to talk them out of it.



"Naerys and I volunteer to get Saeko to bake all of the sweets!” Blizzard smiled and pulled Naerys towards the kitchen to go let him know about the giant Order.



"Mayushi and I can bring a giant kebing shaped piñata” Ladius announced.



"I don’t know if Blizz would be willing to wack that though.” Mayushi pointed out.



"Exactly, more for us!” The Bug Tester sad with a smirk, earning himself a high-five from Mayushi.



Lyra, who had just emerged from the Mod cave, was trying to sneak past everyone unnoticed so she could have a cookie break.



"Hold it right there.” Isis said in a stern voice, "Lyra what will the mod team be contributing to the party?”



"We will grace you guys with our presence.” Lyra replied sarcastically, earning herself a hard pinch on her arm from Alzena who had appeared behind her silent as a ninja.



"Lyra, don’t forget this party is also for Kira to get a chance to bound with everyone. You can’t keep him locked up in the cave forever.” Alzena scolded.



"Fine,” Lyra said with a sigh and corrected herself, "Alzena and I will come up with some party games to play since we are all about rules, and we will allow Kira to grace you guys with his presence.”



Isis who was satisfied, settled back on the couch for a cat nap.



Later that night at the party, the team was surprised to receive a visit from Bottles, Soda and Ana who had come bearing gifts!



"Here you go Maeve,” Soda said giving the TGM a gift.



"Thanks! OH wait…” Her face fell a little recognizing the gift box as an attendance reward.



Bottles who noticed this, reassured her, "Don’t worry the rewards got changed!”



"Yup!” Ana announced, "All 3rd and 4th week boxes were changed in addition to the 20, 24, and 28 day prizes.”



Kira and Aurora Excitedly opened up their gifts before joining in a game of pin the tail on the ratmen, which Kira dominated easily, and hide-and-go seek, which Aurora was a pro at.



Mayushi and Ladius strung up the piñata and everyone had fun wacking it, collecting the chocolates that had dropped from it. As the party drew to a close everyone gathered around the giant kebing cake Saeko had baked earlier.



As Maeve held the knife to cut the cake, Blizzard whimpered, "poor kebing”
